Shred-Line™ is a fantastic tool to make garlic or ginger paste quickly and easily. It is made from stainless steel and features double-action cutting teeth which are sharp enough even for fibrous ginger root. Joseph Joseph always design with practicality in mind. The tool fits into the palm of your hand and features a handle to hold it in place. The slant allows you to scrape the paste straight into your cooking, without coming into contact with the skin. A tradional garlic press is notoriously tricky to clean, but the Shred-Line™ is incredibly simple to wash and can even go in the dishwasher. Also suitable for nutmueg or grating other whole spices.
Joseph Joseph say that Shred-Line™ can also help remove the garlic smell from fingers when washing by hand as stainless steel is thought to help get rid of strong odours such as garlic.
