The Good Mixer Spatula has a Black Maire blade, which is one of New Zealand’s hardest timbers and was used the by the early Maori for cultivation tools and weaponry.The timber is dense so very capable of cutting so be careful. Combined with a Haast Matai handle made from 3300 year old wood (dark) or a Tatara piece handle (light). Please note every design is unique.
Made by sculptor-chef, Tom Muir these one of a kind pieces are suited to everyday cooking as well as treasured possessions with incredible history to be passed down through the ages. The handles are designed to fit comfortably in your hand and they look beautiful displayed in your kitchen (don’t hide them away in drawers)!
Do not put utensils in the dishwasher. Warm hand wash only please.
