Description

The Medium Spatula has a Black Maire Blade and the handle is a feature of Rimu, from Ohakune, near Mt Ruapehu. Black Maire is one of New Zealand’s hardest timbers and used the by the early Maori for cultivation tools and weaponry.

Each piece is unique and handcrafted from ancient New Zealand native timbers salvaged from rivers and forests.

The Medium Spatula is hand made by sculptor-chef, Tom Muir. It is suited to everyday cooking as well as being a treasured possession full of history to be passed down to family and friends.  The handles are designed to fit comfortably in your hand and the utensils look beautiful displayed in your kitchen (don’t hide them away in drawers)!

Only sustainably sourced New Zealand native timbers are used.

Do not put utensils in the dishwasher. Warm hand wash only please.
