The Silver Pear Wedding Service is available nationwide. Give your guests plenty of time to choose and buy a gift: the latest you should make your list is six weeks before the wedding, and three months ahead is ideal.
Wonderful Gift List Ideas With an efficiently managed wedding list, you can set up home with the gifts you really want. At The Silver Pear you'll find comprehensive gift ranges from Alessi. Arthur Price, Denby, Guzzini, Jamie Oliver, Joseph Joseph, Kosta Boda, Leonardo, LSA, Maxwell Williams, Menu, Nigella Lawson, Portmeirion, Royal Worcester and Sophie Conran, to name a few! You'll find an inspired and dazzling array of gifts to choose from, with a wonderful selection of Dining, Cooking, Bath and Living ranges. Our helpful and friendly staff in store can give you all the time and advice you need with your wedding list. Gift Vouchers
It's a great idea to include gift vouchers on your wedding list: they're great for buying additional pieces to complete a set and are also a sensible way of helping your guests make a contribution to a larger purchase - available in £5, £10, £25 and £50 denominations.
Checking Your List
Keep right up to date with the progress of your wedding gift list online, in store or by telephone. Your list stays open for four weeks after the wedding, to allow for late purchases and administration.
Wedding List Cards
When you've made your list you'll be given cards for your guests, telling them your unique wedding code, where the list is held and about our gift wrap and delivery service. Delivery Service
Our delivery service is for guests who buy using the telephone or via the Internet and for those who do not wish to take their gift away with them. We'll agree two delivery dates with you - one before the wedding and one soon afterwards. For local to Ludlow weddings (within a 50 mile radius) the delivery is free but for non local weddings, your guests will pay a handling and delivery charge of £3.50.
Gift Wrapping Service
Our optional gift-wrap service costs £3.00 per purchase. Your gift will be beautifully wrapped and guests can choose to have a personalised message included. Please note that we are unable to wrap some larger items and in this case guests will not be charged for the gift-wrap service. Special Orders
If a requested purchase from your wedding list is not available, your guest will be offered our Special Order Service. These gifts may take up to 12 weeks (from date of purchase) to arrive, so please note that you may not receive them until several weeks after your wedding.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for any reason you have a change of heart about any of your gifts, or if you need to bring back any items you have received, we will offer an exchange or a Credit note. This will not affect your statutory rights. What You Can Expect From Our Service
Unfortunately we can't guarantee that all your gifts will be delivered to you before your wedding, as some purchases are made only the week before; these gifts will be delivered on your second chosen delivery date. We reserve the right to advise your guests of details given to you about our service, but we do not disclose any confidential information. We will try to make available all the products on your list but we cannot guarantee that items available when you compile your list will be available throughout the duration of your list, particularly in seasonal departments.
